Project Homeless Connect 2017

On March 31st Dr. Carol Drake was again at Homeless Connect with First Eye staff Dawn Rardin, COA, Rhonda Whited and Kristen Nelson along with volunteers from the Eta chapter of Phi Rho Sigma Medical Society. We used vouchers from Iowa prevent blindness for the free glasses and free reading glasses were donated by Phi Rho Sigma Alumni Association of Creighton. We screened 160 people and wrote prescriptions for 80 people and we gave away around 70 pairs of reading glasses!
